Broadwaves: Farscape

Play

Farscape is an Australian-American science fiction show from 1999-2003. It tells the story of John Crichton, an astronaut from present day Earth, who travels through a wormhole and ends up in a distant part of the galaxy, where he joins the crew of Moya, a living ship. The crew are renegades escaping from a corrupt militaristic organization called the Peacekeepers. Together, they have many adventures as John keeps on trying to get home, as a grander story arc evolves.

In this special episode of Broadwaves, we look back over all seasons of Farscape, and discuss what our crew thought of this show. This are no major spoilers, so it’s safe for you to listen to this podcast even if you haven’t seen Farscape yet.

Broadwaves Update

As mentioned before the new podcast, Broadwaves, is underway. We are recording the first episode to be released in October right now. YAY!

If you missed our first announcement about it, Broadwaves will be a content review podcast where every form of media from any part of the world is fair game. For more details, check out on this post from Jill back in July.

First up for review on the podcast is Sense8 Season One, wherein we will give you our take on why you should watch this Netflix original. If you have already seen it, we would love your feedback. You can email us at feedback (at) broadwaves (dot) org.

Make sure you connect with our Twitter feed @broadwavescast and our Facebook page to keep up with the podcast release information. Right now we don’t have our website complete, but as soon as we do we will let you know at those locations, as well as here at The Signal blog.

Thank you for your continued support!

Lots Happening Behind the Scenes

Hello everyone!

Long time no talk.

We just wanted to give everyone a heads up that there is lots going on behind the scenes for our new podcast. It’s taking a little bit longer than we planned to get started, but stay tuned here for new about our TV review podcast called Broadwaves. I will post all the link information here when we are ready to start our show discussions, so keep your eyes/feed active!

Also, on a personal note, I wanted to let everyone know about a couple of projects I’ve been working on in the meantime. The first is a podcast with the crew from Heroescast called Is Anybody Watching… We started with a review of the AMC show Into the Badlands and are now covering the show 11.22.63. If you are interested in a little bit of banter after you catch up with each episode of those shows, that’s what we do.

The second project I have been working on is voicework with Audioblivious Productions (which is run by one of my childhood friend’s husband who is a pretty talented guy). I have played a couple of roles for him and have had a blast doing so! Check it out if you like audio drama comedy.

Thanks for sticking with us!

Miranda
